Mary Rose Pottery....Simply Breathtaking!

Ever heard of this chick? Mary Rose Pottery.....check her out! Amazing.
She really is one amazing artist....love just about everything about her work...colour, texture, happiness. My good friend Felicity purchased a piece of Mary Rose's work which she gifted to me..a lovely small bowl-This is where my rings live. (OK...not all of them, but a few at a time..)


Mary Rose Young is a ceramic artist who lives and creates her pottery in the Forest of Dean in the UK. Each piece carries the individuality of the artist's own hand with her unique blend of beauty and humour.

She works with a team of 5 artists and her pieces find their way to homes around the world.

Flowers of Bali....

Of the many things I could write about my last 10 days on the sublime Indonesian Island of Bali, I choose to share a few of my favorite flower shots. Party for the colour, and partly because each time I look at these pictures, a happy smile appears on my face. These flowers are gems of the earth, or perhaps a reflection of the very soul of Mother Earth. I invite you to spend a moment in peace as your eyes feast on the colours, soaking up in your minds eye the stunning and overwhelming beauty of Bali.

Peace of Heart...

Glass-Colour-Light...Stained Glass Beauty!

All round Paris I found beautiful stained glass windows...from the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, the Louve or just walking the streets. I love glass and colour and light, which is why I find stained glass so lovely and uplifting. I think you can easily see how this inspires my jewellery designs. These stained glass photo's are just random shots as I walked the streets and museums.

Colour thru' light....beautiful and magic!

I'm looking forward to working with bold, primary colours in the near future...cobalt blue, fire-red and sunshine yellow....
